Tell City and the surrounding area was first introduced to Bill & Dave’s Smokin’ Pit in August, 2001, located on Main Street in a small building with carry-out food only. The demand for their slow-cooked meat and special sauces out grew the facilities. In late November 2002, they relocated to 11th Street with ample room for dine-in and carry-out facilities. business rooms are available for your private parties or banquets with seating up to 200.

Chicago’s Pizza

Chicago’s Pizza dough is prepared daily with attention to detail to a time-tested process. We start from scratch with simple ingredients and add every one of those ingredients by hand. Freezer Café

Owned by Chuck and Liz Sadler, the Freezer has been a Tell City staple since the late 1950’s. It has been known as the go-to place after a late night of tournaments, festivals, dances and even dragging Main Street back in the day!

This diner maintains its old-school style and atmosphere of a neighborhood institution. Grab a stool and order a quick egg breakfast, salmon patties, homemade chicken and dumplings or pepper steak.

Iron Gate

Located in historic Cannellton, Iron Gate is a family-owned and operated pizza and sandwich restaurant located in the heart of downtown. People travel all over to get a taste of their pizza. It’s sure worth the trip!

Julie’s Tell Street Cafe

Julie’s serves breakfast all day and includes a breakfast buffet on Saturdays. Being named Tell City’s best breakfast in the 2013 Perry County News Readers Choice Awards is the cafe’s most recent accolade. The café also serves up award-winning plate lunches and desserts, also voted Tell City’s best in the Readers Choice Awards. The company focus is on, “Great Food and Great Service at a Great Value.”

King Chef
