Writers of all types are welcome to attend a writing workshop discussion on Tuesday January 22nd from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the Tell City Public Library. The group welcomes all writers 18 or older for fiction as well as nonfiction, to share their writing and have an opportunity for discussion. This program is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to take a sample of their writing to this event.

Cell Phone Smart Night

Tell City Jr. Sr. High School will host a Cell Phone Smart night January 24th at 5:30 PM. The evening will begin with a free meal at 5:30 followed by a presentation in the school auditorium at 6:30. There will be speakers from the Perry County Probation Department, An Island, and the Tell City Police Department's School Resource Officer. There will be attendance prizes. Childcare will be provided and anyone from the county's three school districts is invited.

Oberhausen’s Tax Service Ribbon Cutting

Oberhausen's Tax Service will be having their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on January 25th 2019 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The ribbon cutting will take place at 12:00 (Noon). Finger foods will be served and you can also register to win a 32" Flat Screen TV. Oberhausen's is located at 817 12th Street.
