Highway 66 Yard Sales & Food Trucks

The highway 66 Spring yard sale will take place May 16th - May 19th. This year, food trucks will be available for yard shoppers at The Tell City Depot on 7th Street during the yard sales. Confirmed food trucks are Aunt Annie's. J's Grub, Foodology, Bardge Inn, and B's Sauces.

Tell City American Legion Post 213 yard sale will be held May 16 through May 19th at the American Legion (1912 Main Street in Tell City). Booths are available for rent. Proceeds will go to local scholarships for veteran families.

Writers of all types are welcome to attend a writing workshop discussion on May 21 at 6:30 PM at the Tell City Public Library. All writers 18 or older are encouraged to take a sample of their writing to share, fiction or non-fiction, whether it’s completed work, or a rough draft/outline. There will be opportunities for discussion. Members are looking for monthly meetings to see how their writing grows and improves. This program is free and open to the public.

Oakwood Health Campus and Kindred Hospice will host a breakfast for all veterans or military personnel in the local community at Oakwood Campus at 9:00 AM in the Assisted Living dinning area. This will be a monthly breakfast. Upcoming veteran breakfasts will be held the last Thursday of each month, giving veterans the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and to socialize over breakfast.
