As a Supply Chain Manager at Parker Meggitt Gas Turbine Fuel Systems, you will be responsible for leading procurement and materials operations to support the division’s world-class manufacturing performance. This strategic role will drive planning, inventory management, supplier coordination, and cost control across the entire supply chain lifecycle. You’ll ensure on-time customer delivery, accurate materials tracking, and streamlined flow of information and products.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead procurement, inventory, and materials management activities for the plant, including purchasing, planning, and MRP accuracy.

Ensure on-time delivery of products and materials, monitoring shipping/receiving and addressing discrepancies.

Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, certification, and compliance with procurement regulations.

Implement lean practices such as Kanban and Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory systems.

Use corporate tools such as PFEP, phconnect, eCapacity, and S&OP to support forecasting and planning.

Collaborate with divisional and corporate supply chain teams on initiatives like supplier consolidation and contract management.

Support audits, manage department budget, and lead continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or supply chain management required.

Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.

Strong background in materials management systems, including MRP, JIT, and inventory control.

APICS/CPM certification preferred.

Effective communicator and problem solver with strong analytical and leadership skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems (SAP preferred).
