Substitute Teachers

Perry Central Community Schools is seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to serve as Substitute Teachers and Classroom Assistants. Substitutes play a vital role in maintaining learning continuity and supporting students in a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere

• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other school settings

• Collaborate with school staff to support student needs

• Perform basic administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Higher education and/or Indiana Substitute Teacher Permit preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff

• Must pass a background check and meet state and district requirements
