Substitute Bus Drivers

Perry Central Community Schools is currently hiring Substitute Bus Drivers with the potential to move into a Full-Time Route with benefits. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and enjoy supporting student success, this is a great opportunity to make a difference while driving with a purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events.

• Follow established routes and schedules.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly bus environment.

• Communicate effectively with students and school staff.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required—we’ll train you).

• Must pass a physical and drug screening (costs covered by employer).

• Must have a clean driving record and the ability to work well with students.

• Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to safety.
