Store Key Holder

As a Store Key Holder with Evansville Goodwill Industries in Tell City, IN, you’ll play a pivotal role in retail operations by assisting the Store Manager in overseeing team performance, customer service, inventory management, and financial procedures. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe, productive, and mission-driven store environment while providing leadership to staff and volunteers. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about retail leadership and passionate about making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in daily store operations and employee development.

• Oversee inventory flow including donation intake, sorting, pricing, and stocking.

• Ensure accurate cash handling, financial reporting, and daily deposits.

• Supervise, train, and support team members in customer service and operations.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for customers, donors, and employees.

• Assist with team scheduling, supply management, and internal communications.

• Participate in store meetings and community events that support Goodwill’s mission.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Leadership experience in retail or customer service settings is a plus.

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and using warehouse equipment.
