Staffing Scheduler

As a Staffing Scheduler at Brickyard Healthcare in Tell City, Indiana, you will be responsible for preparing and managing work schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage for every shift. This role is essential in maintaining smooth operations and high-quality care for our residents. You’ll work closely with department leaders to adjust staffing as needed and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain master and daily staffing schedules

• Ensure adequate staff coverage for each shift according to policy and regulatory requirements

• Coordinate with department heads and supervisors to address staffing needs or adjustments

• Communicate scheduling changes promptly to staff

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, shift coverage, and schedule changes

• Support a positive, efficient work environment by ensuring transparency and fairness in scheduling

Qualifications

• Preferably certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state

• No findings on the state registry for abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
