ATTC Manufacturing has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant at our Tell City, Indiana facility. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring proper inventory valuation, and assisting with monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage physical inventory cycle counts, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and tracking discrepancies.
• Maintain and manage capital assets, including adding and disposing of fixed assets in the system.
• Assist with monthly financial close activities, including preparing general ledger journal entries and supporting workpapers.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements.
• Monitor expenses and analyze variances to budget.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual budgeting processes and financial audits.
• Provide backup support for other accounting functions, including accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
