As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care, particularly in chemotherapy administration. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer chemotherapy treatments according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Make independent decisions related to patient care and respond effectively to emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans and progress.
• Follow all hospital policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations.
• Utilize proper body mechanics for lifting and transferring patients.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Must hold a valid RN license in the State of Indiana.
  • Must be current in CPR certification.
  • Must provide copies of licensure/certifications, including renewals, for personnel records.
• Experience:
  • Must be chemo competent.
  • Experience in oncology or infusion therapy is preferred.
• Physical & Mental Requirements:
  • Must have strong attention to detail and independent decision-making skills.
  • Requires stamina and physical exertion to perform under adverse conditions.
  • Must be able to work in a sitting or standing position for extended periods.
