As a General Foundry Production team member at Waupaca Foundry, you will be assigned to a production or service department, where you will train and gain the skills needed to advance into a specific job classification. This position requires night shift availability, weekend work, and mandatory overtime. The work is physically demanding, repetitive, and set in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in manufacturing while working for an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete safety training and consistently follow safety policies and procedures

  • Learn and apply process control documents and departmental work instructions

  • Operate hand tools, machines, and other production equipment

  • Visually inspect castings and products for defects

  • Participate in housekeeping (6-S program) and maintain a clean, safe work area

  • Meet production pace and quality standards to support on-time delivery

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Solid work history demonstrating reliability and responsibility

  • Ability to follow instructions and solve problems on the job

  • Strong communication skills and positive work attitude

  • Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing schedules

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

  • Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime
