About the Role
As a Production Supervisor at Parker Aerospace – Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing key aspects of our manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be leading team members, coordinating cross-departmental efforts, and ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven production. With minimal supervision, you’ll empower your team to meet organizational goals while maintaining a premier customer service mindset. This position is ideal for someone with proven leadership experience in manufacturing and a passion for Lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production operations involving cross-functional teams such as planning, engineering, materials, and sales.
- Supervise a team of employees, providing coaching, direction, and performance oversight.
- Collaborate with planners and buyers to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling.
- Apply Lean principles including VSM, Kaizen, and 5S to improve processes and productivity.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and inclusive work environment while driving continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistency and fairness in applying policies and resolving department-level issues.
- Drive team training, hiring, and development to align with business goals.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or Business required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent education and experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of business systems and computer software tools.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) for export compliance.
