Production Operator

Production Operators are responsible for loading and unloading hazardous materials onto tank trucks, railcars, box vans, and other shipping containers, as well as assisting with plant housekeeping and supporting production processes. This position requires attention to detail, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to complete required training.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload tank trucks, railcars, and other shipping containers.

• Perform plant housekeeping tasks including cleaning, painting, mowing, and weed eating.

• Conduct physical inventory and complete required documentation.

• Collect product samples and assist plant operations personnel as needed.

• Follow all safety and environmental policies in line with the EHS&S mission statement.

• Complete responsibilities outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix.

• Meet “fit for duty” requirements.

• Abide by ORG Chem Group’s quality policy.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Experience: No prior experience required—training is provided.

• Must be able to read, write, and understand training materials and instructions.

• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and proportions).

• Ability to meet all safety and compliance requirements.
