Production Control Operator

As a Production Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our production floor efficient, safe, and high-quality. You’ll be responsible for operating machinery, inspecting parts, packing finished goods, and maintaining equipment while working in a positive, challenging environment where support and camaraderie are key.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform work assignments from the production supervisor.

• Pack finished goods into correct packaging.

• Track hourly production results and report machine status.

• Notify supervisors of mechanical, safety, or production issues.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Inspect materials to verify tolerance standards using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.

• Follow standardized work procedures for machine operation and part inspection.

• Inspect equipment and perform regular TQM maintenance.

• Identify and contain defective parts while following stop-call-wait protocols.

• Support overall production needs, working across various areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Flexible to work varying hours, including weekends.

• Must pass drug and alcohol screening.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and parts chest-high as needed.

• Stand for long periods of time.

• Bend, stoop, and maneuver around production equipment.

• Wear designated PPE throughout the shift.
