Parker Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Assembler to join our afternoon shift team in Troy, Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a company known for engineering excellence and innovation in aviation technology. As a Production Assembler, you’ll help bring high-quality aerospace components to life through precision mechanical and electromechanical assembly.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM.

You’ll play an essential role in supporting Parker’s mission of “Enabling Engineering Breakthroughs that Lead to a Better Tomorrow,” while enjoying a collaborative environment, growth opportunities, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble complex mechanical and/or electromechanical components using hand tools and machinery

  • Follow manufacturing instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards

  • Operate various machines and inspect assembled parts for accuracy

  • Record production data and participate in team activities across departments

  • Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain punctual, regular attendance and demonstrate flexibility with potential weekend or evening hours

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • 0–3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

  • Vocational training, certifications, or relevant technical skills a plus

  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and safety procedures

  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts and precision tools

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, use hands, talk, and hear

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and operate foot-powered equipment

  • Vision requirements include close and distance acuity and color recognition (when applicable)
