About the Role
As a Production Assembler, you’ll perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly work that supports aerospace systems used around the world. This role involves working with hand tools, machines, and detailed specifications to ensure high-quality production in a safety-focused environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and wants to build a career in advanced manufacturing right here in southern Indiana.
Key Responsibilities

Perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations

Operate machines and use hand tools safely and effectively
-
Inspect your own work and the work of others to ensure accuracy and quality
-
Read and follow drawings, process specifications, and work instructions
-
Record production time and quantities within the assigned cell
-
Support training and development by assisting in other production cells as needed
-
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
-
Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
-
Perform additional duties as assigned

May be required to work additional hours, nights, or weekends as needed
Qualifications
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred
-
1–3 years of related assembly or manufacturing experience
Skills

Ability to perform complex mechanical or electromechanical assembly
-
Strong problem-solving skills, including handling non-routine situations
-
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures
-
Good manual dexterity and comfort working with small, detailed parts
-
Effective oral and written communication skills
Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
-
Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and reaching

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a strong focus on accuracy

Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed work throughout the shift

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Work Authorization
