Parker Meggitt is seeking a skilled Production Assembler to support our aerospace manufacturing operations in Troy, Indiana. In this role, you will perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, production machinery, and precise work instructions. You’ll play a critical part in producing high-quality components that support aircraft systems worldwide. This is an afternoon shift position, Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with occasional nights, weekends, or additional hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

Perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks following company instructions and safety guidelines

Operate various machines and hand tools safely and efficiently
-
Inspect your own work or other team members’ work to ensure accuracy and compliance with drawings and specifications
-
Follow process specifications and documentation for all assigned production tasks
-
Record production time and quantities accurately within your assigned cell
-
Assist with training and support activities in other production cells or areas
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
-
Demonstrate consistent adherence to safety policies and company procedures
-
Work additional hours or variable schedules when required
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Vocational training, apprenticeships, or related technical experience welcomed
-
1–3 years of production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
Skills & Abilities:
-
Ability to perform detailed mechanical and electromechanical assembly work
-
Manual dexterity to work with small components
-
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manufacturing instructions, and technical documents
-
Strong communication skills
-
Ability to solve problems using established procedures or precedents
-
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
-
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
-
Stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach for extended periods
-
Perform repetitive, precise hand and finger movements
-
Wear required PPE for the full duration of the shift

Communicate effectively with coworkers, delivery personnel, and supervisors
Other Requirements:

Must meet U.S. export compliance and/or government contracting eligibility requirements

Must pass drug screening in accordance with company policy
