Join the team at O’Reilly Auto Parts as a Parts Specialist, where providing top-tier customer service is the priority. In this role, you’ll assist walk-in and phone customers with their automotive needs, help professional installers, and support a wide range of in-store operations. Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist retail customers in selecting parts and merchandise in a friendly, professional manner

Answer incoming calls and provide accurate part lookups, quotes, and product recommendations

Promote and follow customer service programs such as Hi-5 and Low Price Guarantee

Support professional installers and assist store management as needed

Maintain an accurate cash drawer, process transactions, and handle returns/exchanges

Complete company-required training related to sales and operations
-
Perform in-store services such as battery testing, wiper installation, and code scanning (where legally permitted)

Assist with stocking, planogram updates, freight processing, and inventory management
-
Operate equipment like brake lathes and test tools upon completing required training

Occasionally deliver parts as needed (valid driver’s license required)

Address customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently

Perform additional tasks as assigned to support store operations
Qualifications
Required:
-
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a busy retail environment
-
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric part numbers and manage POS transactions
-
Must meet company driving eligibility standards if required to drive
Preferred:
-
Familiarity with automotive parts and sales systems
-
ASE certification
-
Bilingual (Spanish highly desirable)
