Nurse Practitioner

As a Nurse Practitioner at the Tell City Clinic in Tell City, Indiana, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. This position is ideal for a licensed and experienced advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and is committed to maintaining professional development and licensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.

• Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatments.

• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and preventative health.

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to patient care coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education to maintain clinical competence.

• Respond to medical emergencies and support urgent care needs as required.

• Adhere to infection control procedures and safety guidelines in all patient interactions.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Indiana.

• Active Indiana Controlled Substances Registration and DEA Registration.

• CPR certification and willingness to maintain all necessary licensure documentation.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (in-program or post-graduation).

• Strong decision-making, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift patients/items up to 100 lbs, and work under high-pressure conditions.
