About the Role
The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in supporting daily operations at Perry County Family Practice. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while providing courteous and professional service to patients, families, and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

Manage front-desk operations including scheduling, check-in, and administrative support

Accurately enter and maintain patient information using computer systems

Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and clinic staff

Follow oral and written instructions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Handle frequent interruptions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with clinic policies and procedures

Use standard office equipment including computers, phones, copiers, and other office tools
Qualifications
Education
-
High school diploma or equivalent required

Medical receptionist training preferred
Licensure/Certification

Experience
-
Experience in a clinical setting, medical office, or clinic preferred

Computer experience required
Physical & Mental Requirements

Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a high-volume environment

Ability to handle pressure and make occasional independent decisions

Strong interpersonal skills with courtesy and tact

Ability to lift 20 pounds or more
