Perry County Family Practice is looking for a professional, organized, and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our team in Leopold, Indiana. As a full-time, front-line member of our clinic, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical office.

About the Role:
As a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and care

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

• Answer multi-line phones and direct calls appropriately

• Accurately enter and update patient information in the computer system

• Process paperwork and assist with insurance and billing procedures

• Coordinate with medical staff to support smooth clinic operations

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance at all times

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Training as a medical receptionist preferred

• Previous experience in a medical office or clinic preferred

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office equipment

• Ability to follow both oral and written instructions with precision

• Strong interpersonal skills, tact, and professionalism in patient interactions

• Ability to manage interruptions and handle occasional independent decisions

• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform clerical duties with manual dexterity

Work Environment:
This is an on-site, full-time position at Perry County Family Practice in Leopold, IN. You will work in a busy clinical setting that requires focus, flexibility, and the ability to engage with patients and staff alike, sometimes in challenging situations. Some irregular hours may occasionally be required.
