The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role includes fabrication, installation, and basic construction-type work as needed. The position requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Complete safety training and comply with departmental safety guidelines

Participate in the 6-S housekeeping program
-
Follow process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)

Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operations
-
Perform fabrication, machine repair, installation, and basic construction tasks
-
Conduct welding, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs, blueprint reading, power transmission repair, and general machine maintenance
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in a maintenance-related field
-
Solid work history and proven problem-solving skills
-
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and adapt to a flexible schedule
