As an adjunct faculty member for Math/Student Success at Ivy Tech Tell City, you’ll help students strengthen essential skills for academic and career success. You will create an engaging, inclusive learning environment while delivering in-person instruction based on the College’s common syllabi. This role is perfect for educators who are passionate about supporting student growth and achievement.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Math/Student Success courses in person every Thursday from 8:00 AM to noon (January–May semester)

Provide a syllabus aligned with course requirements and follow prescribed content

Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records per College policies

Use instructional technology (e.g., PowerPoint) to enhance learning

Be available outside class to support students’ questions and academic needs

Collaborate with program leadership to address student concerns

Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of classroom culture
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, with completion of a calculus course (not brief calculus)

Must be located to teach in-person at the Tell City, IN campus
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience teaching in higher education
