Parker Meggitt is hiring a skilled and strategic Manufacturing Engineer Lead to oversee engineering activities at our Troy, Indiana manufacturing facility. In this leadership role, you’ll mentor a team of manufacturing engineers, optimize processes, manage capital projects, and drive cross-functional collaboration across operations, product design, and supply chain teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of aerospace systems through technical expertise and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the daily activities of the site’s manufacturing engineering team.

  • Oversee the planning and implementation of equipment, tooling, and process flows.

  • Develop project portfolios and drive process improvement strategies across departments.

  • Ensure safety and compliance with all manufacturing standards and company policies.

  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring effective training and career growth.

  • Collaborate with suppliers, design teams, and operations to align engineering processes with business goals.

  • Manage capital budgets and lead system upgrades and technology selection initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, including technical leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of process flow analysis, quality, cost reduction, and throughput improvement.

  • Proven project management and strategic planning capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP or manufacturing systems.
