As a Maintenance Technician at ATTC Manufacturing, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving the functionality of our machinery, equipment, and systems. This hands-on position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Identify malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and troubleshooting issues with supervisors or maintenance workers.
- Dismantle and repair defective machines or install new parts.
- Clean and lubricate machinery components such as shafts, bearings, and gears.
- Install and repair electrical systems, including transformers, wiring, and electronic components.
- Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Troubleshoot, program, and repair CNC PLCs and automated machinery.
- Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines to fabricate or repair parts.
- Perform welding and metal fabrication to repair or construct machine components.
- Collaborate with engineers to analyze equipment designs and specifications.
- Recommend changes or modifications to improve efficiency and adaptability through Kaizen activities.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in maintaining industrial machinery and systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and verbal instructions.
- Experience with CNC PLC programming and repair is a plus.
- Skilled in using machine tools and welding equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods.
Compensation: Starting at $25.30 per hour with pay increases every six months for the first five years and a weekly bonus.
Schedule: Night shift with a 4-on/4-off schedule.
