Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Perry County Memorial Hospital, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Facilities Department. Your primary focus will be performing general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hospital buildings, systems, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience who thrives in a responsive and detail-oriented workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical system repairs.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.

• Assist with equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.

• Respond to service calls and complete work orders efficiently.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comply with safety procedures and hospital policies.

Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Three to six months of related maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, methods, and safety standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and reliability.
