Machinist

ATTC Manufacturing, a Tier 2 automotive supplier, is seeking a skilled Machinist for its Tell City, IN facility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for regrinding cast slides, making gibbs and wear plates, and ensuring precision machining support for our production needs. This is a full-time, day-shift position with hours from 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Regrind cast slides to maintain precision and durability.

• Machine and produce gibbs and wear plates.

• Operate milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.

• Use CNC equipment when needed to support production demands.

• Perform basic welding as required.

• Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition.

• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience with milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.

• CNC machining and welding experience preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
