Centurion Health is proud to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are currently seeking a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Branchville Correctional Facility in Branchville, Indiana.

About the Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in delivering holistic, patient-centered care within a correctional healthcare setting. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses and medical/psychiatric staff, the LPN will respond to a wide range of physical and behavioral health needs, ensuring the well-being of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures

• Support daily medical operations, including medication administration, patient assessments, and treatments

• Respond to emergency situations and assist in crisis intervention when needed

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities

• Work collaboratively with medical, mental health, and correctional staff to ensure coordinated care

• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and infection control standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain

• Current CPR certification required

• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, including passing a drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift:

• PRN (As needed basis)

• Flexible scheduling to meet facility needs

Compensation:

• $28 per hour (PRN rate)
