We’re currently seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant to join our Environmental Services team at our Tell City, IN campus. About the Role:
In this role, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant living space for our residents by performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry tasks. Your attention to detail ensures a welcoming, sanitized environment—and your contribution is essential to our overall quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and disinfecting surfaces

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and hallways

• Handle laundry services including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linen and clothing

• Follow infection control and isolation cleaning protocols

• Safely operate cleaning equipment and maintain supply carts

• Dispose of trash and soiled linens in accordance with safety and hygiene policies

• Ensure all tools and supplies are properly cleaned and stored

• Report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions to your supervisor

• Support a welcoming, respectful, and safe environment for residents and visitors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active tasks

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus
