We are currently seeking a full-time Genetic Production Team Lead to join our Tell City, Indiana operation. This role supports the Genetic Farm Manager by overseeing daily farm operations, coordinating team tasks, and ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone passionate about animal agriculture and swine production. You’ll work closely with the Farm Manager to manage a dedicated team of technicians, maintain production standards, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and animal care protocols. This role also involves assisting with day-to-day animal care duties and routine maintenance across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and oversight for animals, ensuring humane handling and welfare standards

• Monitor animal health and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as needed

• Train and support team members through daily task organization and feedback

• Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with protocols

• Assist with scheduling, supply orders, feed coordination, and personnel updates

• Support basic building and equipment maintenance and communicate repair needs

• Implement best practices in environmental stewardship, including manure management

• Foster a safe, clean, and efficient work environment and report incidents promptly

• Participate in weekend rotations and work in physically demanding, fast-paced conditions

Qualifications:

• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Able to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic, fast-moving environment

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long periods

• Valid driver’s license and ability to work weekends

• Postsecondary certificate or training in agriculture or livestock is a plus

• 1–2 years of swine or livestock production experience preferred

• Familiarity with AcuFast core values and commitment to continuous improvement
