About the Role

As a Financial Consultant at German American Bancorp, you’ll play a pivotal role within our Investments Division, guiding clients through financial decisions and investment opportunities. Your primary focus will be delivering excellent client service while offering brokerage and advisory services tailored to individual needs. This position is ideal for an experienced financial professional who thrives in a consultative, goal-oriented setting and values collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships through face-to-face meetings and portfolio reviews.
• Recommend investment strategies and products aligned with clients’ goals and risk profiles.
• Open and manage investment accounts, process transactions, and ensure order accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal banking, wealth, and investment teams to meet client financial needs holistically.
• Provide timely and clear communication, ensuring clients understand their options and opportunities.

Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 licenses, and life and health insurance license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and client service skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
