Evening Cook

We’re looking for a skilled Cook to join our dietary department and deliver high-quality meals that make a difference. In this role, you’ll prepare delicious and nutritious dishes, maintain food safety standards, and provide excellent service to residents and staff. If you’re passionate about food and take pride in creating enjoyable dining experiences, this is the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to census counts, cycle menus, recipes, and production sheets.

• Create modified and therapeutic diets, ensuring accurate portioning and attractive presentation.

• Assist with meal service and timely delivery.

• Maintain proper stock levels and ensure product rotation in assigned areas.

• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards for all stations and equipment.

• Support training of dining services staff as needed.

• Utilize menu software and follow all company, local, state, and federal guidelines for food safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate food service equipment safely and effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previous industry experience preferred but not required.
