ER Staff Nurse

As a PRN ER Staff Nurse, you’ll join the front line of patient care at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Tell City, Indiana. Working in a dynamic and often unpredictable setting, you’ll be responsible for providing skilled, responsive care to patients experiencing medical emergencies. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, efficient emergency care for patients of all ages.

• Interpret ECG rhythm strips and monitor patient vitals and symptoms.

• Respond rapidly to acute medical situations using critical thinking and clinical expertise.

• Collaborate with physicians and fellow nurses on patient care plans and treatments.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

• Adhere to safety, infection control, and emergency care protocols.

• Use appropriate body mechanics when lifting or transferring patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Active Indiana RN license required.

• Current certification in BLS/CPR.

• Competence in ECG rhythm interpretation required.

• ACLS and PALS certification required or ability to obtain within one year of hire.

• Strong attention to detail, adaptability in emergencies, and sound judgment.
