About the Role
The Engineer II is responsible for new product design and development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer and engineering requirements. The role involves applying core engineering principles to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that align with aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead aerospace product programs from concept through full product lifecycle.

  • Develop detailed product specifications based on performance and customer requirements.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and recommend solutions using analytical methods.

  • Interpret and validate test results for accuracy and ensure conformance to qualification standards.

  • Create technical reports, procedures, and documentation for customer approval.

  • Support design reviews, engineering change orders, and product improvements.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure successful product launch.

  • Mentor junior engineers and share specialized technical knowledge.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, tools, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certificate in engineering or related technical discipline.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of related design and development experience in an engineering environment.

  • Working knowledge of aerospace or mechanical design principles, materials, and standards.

  • Proficiency with design and analysis tools such as CAD, modeling, and simulation software.

  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based role with occasional standing or walking.

  • Frequent use of computers and communication equipment.

  • Requires close vision and ability to focus on detailed design work.

  • Regular, reliable attendance and professional collaboration are essential.
