As an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Waupaca Foundry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of advanced manufacturing equipment. Your responsibilities will focus on electrical system troubleshooting, repairs, and supporting special projects. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background who are eager to contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment

Make electrical adjustments to ensure efficient machine operations

Install and maintain conduit, wiring, and panels
-
Assist with project layouts and participate in equipment upgrades or modifications
-
Read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions
-
Support safety, 6-S (housekeeping), and process control initiatives
-
Work independently on 2nd or 3rd shift as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree in electrical, military, or industrial field preferred (or equivalent experience)

Experience or formal training in electrical maintenance, including:
-
Conduit bending
-
Hydraulics and pneumatics
-
Troubleshooting (open/closed loop control, robotics, schematics)

Project layout and panel building
-
Welding
-
-
Solid work history, good problem-solving skills, and ability to follow instructions
-
Strong communication skills and positive, dependable work attitude

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work with minimal supervision
