Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment through expert electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair work. This role also supports special projects and ensures machinery runs at peak efficiency while contributing to a safe and well-organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all required safety training and follow departmental safety guidelines

• Participate in the 6-S housekeeping program

• Follow process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)

• Perform conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, machine repair, and panel building

• Adjust machinery to maintain efficient operations

• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotic troubleshooting/programming, and project layouts

• Interpret electrical schematics and perform welding as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Military, or Industrial field preferred

• Education, equivalent experience, or actively pursuing a degree in an electrical-related field

• Proven work history with strong communication skills

• Ability to problem solve, follow instructions, and work independently

• Proficiency in:

  • Conduit bending

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Project layout and troubleshooting

  • Open/closed loop control systems

  • Robotic troubleshooting/programming

  • Electrical schematics

  • Welding
