Waupaca Foundry is seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our Tell City, Indiana manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll perform electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and participate in special projects. You’ll help keep operations running smoothly by applying your technical knowledge in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting, wiring, conduit bending, panel building, and repairs on industrial machinery.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and support capital improvement projects.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine prints, and manuals.

  • Troubleshoot and support robotic systems and open/closed loop controls.

  • Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and general electrical systems.

  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to identify and resolve electrical issues.

  • Follow safety protocols and complete all required training.

  • Participate in the facility’s 6-S housekeeping and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical, Military, or Industrial Technology preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Previous experience or training in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, conduit work, hydraulics/pneumatics, and controls.

  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.

  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and adapt to changing schedules.

  • Solid work history with a strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude.

Candidates must successfully complete interviews, testing, drug screening, physical, and a job function test as part of the selection process.
