We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Tell City, Indiana facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment with a company that values craftsmanship, safety, and employee growth.

Position Overview:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and systems. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the facility through preventive maintenance and technical expertise in electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on plant machinery and equipment

  • Support preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime

  • Complete conduit work, wiring, panel building, and machine repair

  • Use process control documents and follow safety and operational procedures

  • Participate in Waupaca Foundry’s 6-S Program for workplace organization

  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements

Required Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Conduit bending and installation

  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Project layout and interpretation of electrical schematics

  • Troubleshooting of open/closed loop control systems

  • Robotic programming and diagnostics

  • Welding (as required for electrical equipment repairs)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Military Technical field preferred

  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Solid work history, strong communication skills, and a positive, problem-solving mindset
