Waupaca Foundry, an industry leader in metal casting manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Tell City, Indiana location. This position plays a key role in maintaining plant operations by providing expert electrical troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventive maintenance for a state-of-the-art production facility.

About the Role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform hands-on electrical work including conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and machine repair. You’ll help keep our facility running safely and efficiently while supporting special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete required safety training and follow departmental safety procedures

• Participate in Waupaca Foundry’s 6-S housekeeping program

• Use process control documentation and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs)

• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshoot systems, and build electrical panels

• Make adjustments to machinery to maintain optimal performance

• Support additional maintenance tasks or projects as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Associate’s degree in Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or Military technical training preferred

• Actively pursuing or completed education in an Electrical-related field

• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift

• Reliable work history with a positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills

• Must be proficient in:

  • Conduit bending

  • Troubleshooting (open/closed loop control)

  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics

  • Hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Project layout and robotic programming/troubleshooting

  • Welding and panel building

Hiring Requirements:
Final candidates must complete a comprehensive selection process including:

• Interviews and aptitude testing

• Job function test
