Daycare Assistant

William Tell Elementary School is seeking a caring and dependable Daycare Assistant to help support students enrolled in before- and after-school care. This position assists with supervising children, engaging in educational and recreational activities, and ensuring a safe and welcoming space.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with children in a positive and respectful manner

• Assist with activities such as games, crafts, and homework support

• Help with snack distribution, restroom breaks, and clean-up tasks

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized daycare environment

• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Experience working with children is a plus

• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain patient

• Must pass a background check and meet all school employment requirements
