About the Role
The Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as a primary point of contact for customers and insurance agents. This position supports daily office operations by assisting with customer inquiries, processing payments and policy changes, managing documentation, and providing administrative support across multiple lines of insurance business.
Key Responsibilities

Interact directly with customers by phone and in person to resolve questions and issues

Process customer payments and policy changes for multiple insurance companies

Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately

Provide ongoing support to customers and respond to inquiries in a timely manner

Process and manage documents using an internal management system

Provide administrative and operational support to insurance agents

Multi-task effectively while prioritizing responsibilities and managing time efficiently

Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced office environment

Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Comfortable working with computer systems and office technology

Cash-handling or administrative experience preferred

Insurance or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
