The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) is seeking a Customer Service Representative 2 for its Tell City branch. This position is responsible for administering driving skills exams, evaluating applicants, and assisting customers with motor vehicle and watercraft titles and registrations. As a Customer Service Representative 2, you’ll serve on the front lines—providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and upholding all relevant traffic and vehicle registration laws. You’ll also travel occasionally to support branch activities and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and evaluate driving exams

• Assist with vehicle/watercraft titles and registration

• Process cash and card transactions accurately

• Maintain customer privacy and legal compliance

• Attend training and certification classes as required

• Travel to support other branches up to 20% of the time

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 21 years old

• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months

• No at-fault accidents resulting in death/serious injury

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Familiarity with Indiana driving laws

• Ability to remain calm and professional in all situations
