As a CNC Machine Operator, you will perform program editing, setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of CNC machines, custom process machines, and production support equipment. You’ll interpret technical drawings, adjust tooling and process parameters, and collaborate with both internal teams and outside service technicians to solve problems.
Shift: Afternoon shift, Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (voluntary overtime when available).
Key Responsibilities

Operate 3-axis vertical and horizontal mills, ensuring correct fixturing and following technical work instructions.

Load NC programs, adjust offsets, maintain and replace cutting tools, and conduct first article inspections (FAIs).

Use measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators) to record QA data and ensure product accuracy.

Operate material-handling equipment (hoists, cranes, tow motors, etc.).

Perform setup, calibration checks, and preventive maintenance tasks.

Document in-process data and maintain compliance with quality standards.

Work in teams to improve processes, train new recruits, and support daily production needs.

Participate in housekeeping, 6S initiatives, and safety programs.
Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred.

Experience: 2–4 years of CNC machining experience.

Skills:
-
Proficiency with CNC software, Fanuc/Siemens controls, and CAD-CAM/Mastercam.

Ability to read blueprints, operator manuals, and process specifications.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
-
Experience with precision measuring equipment.
