About the Role

The Beautician/Stylist plays a key role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by providing onsite salon services in a comfortable, welcoming environment. You will work independently, managing appointments, delivering a variety of hair care services, and ensuring the salon operates in compliance with all regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for serving seniors and creating uplifting experiences through personal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule appointments for residents.

• Provide a full range of salon services, including haircuts, trims, styling, coloring, setting, and perming.

• Cut and trim both women’s and men’s hair and beards.

• Style hair according to residents’ requests and preferences.

• Maintain a friendly, positive, and professional atmosphere for all residents.

• Independently manage salon operations, including adhering to all Federal and State health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Beautician/Stylist license.

• Must provide proof of insurance and display operator’s license onsite.

• Previous experience working with long-term care residents preferred.

• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach.
