Assistant Teacher

As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with Lead Teachers to support a classroom of young children. Responsibilities include covering teacher breaks, lunches, and planning time while helping maintain a safe, fun, and educational environment. You will also contribute to fostering positive interactions and supporting child development.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Teachers to ensure successful classroom operations.

• Cover Lead Teacher’s breaks, lunches, and planning time.

• Assist in implementing daily routines and activities.

• Provide care, guidance, and encouragement to children in a safe, supportive environment.

• Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive engagement.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or equivalency required.

• CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred (eligible for higher pay).

• Enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and engaging with children.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Starting at $12.00 per hour (higher with CDA or Associate’s degree).

• Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours), Monday–Friday.
