Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager at Pizza Hut’s Tell City location, you’ll help create a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for every guest. You’ll support daily operations, coach and motivate team members, oversee financial results, and help build a workplace where people love to come to work. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead and support team members during day-to-day operations

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure guests feel welcomed and valued

• Train, coach, and motivate employees to meet performance and service standards

• Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and operational decision-making

• Help oversee financial results, including labor, sales, and cost controls

• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards

• Model teamwork, professionalism, and a positive workplace attitude

• Assist with deposits and occasionally drive for business needs

• Support new initiatives and operational improvements

• Contribute to a strong, inclusive, people-focused culture

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality required

• Demonstrated experience supporting financial results (labor control, inventory, sales, etc.)

• Strong customer service mindset — passionate about making guests’ day

• Motivational, energetic, honest, and team-oriented

• Ability to train, coach, and lead a diverse team

• Willingness to tackle daily challenges and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license

• Reliable transportation (required for deposits or other business needs)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and high performance
