About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you’ll organize and lead a variety of recreational and social programs designed to enhance residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. You’ll have the chance to engage residents in meaningful activities that inspire connection, creativity, movement, and fun.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, promote, and execute group and individual activities including arts and crafts, games, music, exercise classes, and social events

• Customize activities based on residents’ interests, cognitive abilities, and physical needs

• Prepare materials, set up spaces, and ensure safe, welcoming environments for all activities

• Foster strong relationships with residents and work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, and other departments

• Maintain documentation of activities and participation

• Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities as needed (requires a valid driver’s license)

• Support and promote a vibrant, uplifting campus culture

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid, unencumbered driver’s license

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physically active duties throughout your shift

• A positive attitude and a desire to brighten others’ days

• 0–1 year of experience in a similar role preferred but not required
