About the Role:
As an Activity Assistant, you’ll organize and lead a variety of recreational and social programs designed to enhance residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. You’ll have the chance to engage residents in meaningful activities that inspire connection, creativity, movement, and fun.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, promote, and execute group and individual activities including arts and crafts, games, music, exercise classes, and social events

Customize activities based on residents’ interests, cognitive abilities, and physical needs
-
Prepare materials, set up spaces, and ensure safe, welcoming environments for all activities

Foster strong relationships with residents and work collaboratively with nursing, therapy, and other departments

Maintain documentation of activities and participation
-
Assist with transportation of residents to and from activities as needed (requires a valid driver’s license)

Support and promote a vibrant, uplifting campus culture

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED

Valid, unencumbered driver’s license

Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physically active duties throughout your shift

A positive attitude and a desire to brighten others’ days

0–1 year of experience in a similar role preferred but not required
