The Activities Associate plays a key role in enhancing residents’ quality of life by organizing and facilitating recreational and social activities. This role requires creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt activities to meet the cognitive and physical needs of each resident. You’ll work closely with the care team to create a positive, inclusive environment where residents feel connected and engaged.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead activities, events, and entertainment programs

  • Encourage resident participation by promoting upcoming events

  • Tailor activities to meet individual needs and abilities

  • Set up and prepare spaces, equipment, and supplies for activities

  • Lead and document group and one-on-one activities, such as arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and social gatherings


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred

  • 0–1 years of relevant experience preferred
