Entry Information
- Open Event: No event qualification requirements.
- Dog Registration Requirements:
- All dogs must be UKC registered.
- Single registration is available on-site for dogs meeting UKC single registration requirements.
- Important: Dogs with more than half Coonhound ancestry are not eligible for registration as any breed of Cur.
- Registration Documents Needed:
- A copy of the registration certificate and pedigree from an acknowledged registry.
- Alternatively, contact UKC Hunting Ops to register your dog in advance.
- Entry Details:
- On-Site Entry: Enter on the grounds the day of the event.
- Fees:
- Hunt Entry Fee: $40
- Show Entry Fee: $15
- Hunt Entry Deadline: 7:00 AM local time (No exceptions).
Hunt & Show Details
- Hunt Format:
- Conducted under a full elimination format.
- Current rules and procedures apply as per the rulebook for the event year.
- All dogs, regardless of category, are drawn together.
- Curs and Feists compete in separate championships.
- Hunt Rounds:
- 90-minute hunts per round.
- All cast winners in each round advance to the next round.
- Top 10 placements are awarded for both Cur and Feist hunts.
- Bench Show Details:
- A World Championship Bench Show will be held on Saturday at a time determined during the event.
- Entry Deadline: Announced on Saturday morning.
- Awards:
- Nice awards will be displayed and presented at the event.
