Candlelight Tour – Little Shubael Village

The 1905 Millstone School, all five cabins, blacksmith and carpenter shops, jail and country store will feature hosts or hostesses serving food from the era. A fireplace or wood-burning stove will provide heat in each building. The village will be decked with handmade ornaments. Visitors are encouraged to take their own candles or kerosene lanterns. Trails will be lit with candle lanterns.

Perry County Winter Hikes

Hikers should wear layered clothing and hiking boots. Bring snacks and water as well. Hikers under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Hikers should call to verify the hike will take place. The number that the guide, Vince Gagliardi, can be reached at is (812) 719-5115.
