The CCC Boys of Tell City

Michigan based author Bill Jamerson will present a music and storytelling program about the Civilian Conservation Corps at the Tell City Public Library on Saturday, March 25 at 1:30 pm. The presentation is free and open to the public, refreshments will be served. Over 4000 CCC Boys were involved in rescue and clean up efforts during the Flood of 1937. Camp William Tell opened in August 1934, 1.5 miles north of town.

Lenten Coffee

The Ladies Lenten Prayer Coffees will be held coffee socials during the Lenten season. All women and girls are invited to attend. There will be an offering taken at each session. At the final session, the group will decide which local charity will receive the offering. A light breakfast and program will be provided at each session.

Second Chance Prom

The 2017 Second Chance Prom for Charity will be held March 25. Tickets are $60 for couples and $40 for singles. Guests must be 18 or older to attend. There will be a cash bar and photography available for an extra charge. Tickets may be purchased at Cinderella's and Lulu's on Main Street in Tell City.

VFW Breakfast

The VFW will host a breakfast buffet on March 25 at the post home. Scrambled eggs will be served or dinners can get eggs made to order. Cost is $7, which includes tax. Carryout meals will be available. The public is invited.
