VFW Post 2939, 301 Main St. Tell City, will open at its regular hours on Sunday, November 8, to serve a meal to veterans, offering bean soup, corn bread and ham sandwiches.
Ohio Scenic Railway is offering veterans the opportunity for a free train ride on Sunday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. Registration is required, as there are a limited number of tickets.
Veterans can register online at www.ohiorivertrain.com under “Buy” and “Tickets”. One veteran and one guest are allowed.
Veterans can also get tickets for the free train ride by stopping at the Depot, 333 Seventh Street in Tell City, during regular business hours.
