Want to learn more about hive top insulation and how it affects your bees? Curious about what it is like to manage bees for commercial crops? Attend the Perry County Beekeepers January Meeting on January 16 at 6:00 PM in the FFA Building at Perry Central School.
Steve Hahus will begin the meeting with a presentation on Hive Top Insulation; how it effects temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide levels of the winter cluster. Following that, Irv Ruger will share about his experience managing bees for cranberry pollination in Wisconsin.
All beekeepers and prospective beekeepers are invited to attend. We always enjoy chatting about bees after the end of the official meeting, so please bring a snack to share.
This meeting is free and open to the public.
