The Tell City Depot Visitors Center and Gift Shop warmly welcomes travelers and locals alike to discover the rich history and vibrant culture of Tell City, nestled in the heart of its historic train depot.
The main attraction of the visitors center is its meticulously curated exhibits, which chronicle the evolution of Tell City from its humble beginnings as a bustling river town to its emergence as a vibrant hub of industry and culture.

Gift Shop
The consignment shop was established in early 2013 and sanctioned as an Indiana artisan gift shop. The shop features hand-made items crafted from local artisans, many of which reside right here in Perry County, IN and all the Pick Perry merchandise!
Event Room
This all-inclusive event space is perfect for hosting weddings & receptions, reunions & banquets, business meetings, and gatherings of all varieties. Amenities include a fully equipped catering kitchen, building capacity accommodations for up to 130 people, seating for over 100 guests, with both round and rectangular tables. Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market, held outdoors under the pavilion area of the Tell City Depot, begins in early June of each year and runs through the end of October. The community market includes farmers and local artisans selling items such as fresh fruits & vegetables, preserves & jellies, baked items, handmade soaps, stylish travel bags, beautiful plants & flowers, and so much more. The market operates each Tuesday afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 6: 00 p.m. and Saturday mornings, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For more information on the Farmer’s Market, contact the Tell City Mayor’s Office at 812-547-5511
